Charity Project

The aim of the high tea and concert in the garden of Chom Dong Villa on Saturday 24th July 2010 was to raise funds in aid of the Khao Pitak Municipal Primary School in Hua Hin. 
It was possible to support the following requests from the school :
1. The renovation and modernization of the school’s toilet facilities: 130,000 Baht
2. A project to clean-up a public area (a stretch of beach near Khao Takieb) and to plant 50 kratin narong trees (Wattle, Acacia auriculaeformis) around the Khao Tao reservoir, Hua Hin: 7,500 Baht
The school will seek a tender for the toilet renovation project from local building contractors. Two outbuildings, each with 4 toilets, will be repaired and repainted, and the toilets replaced with modern flush types. 
The environment protection project took place on Monday 26th July; 29 school children, the school principal and 4 teachers as well as some interested guests participated.
