Ban Kangnon Sa-at School in Udon Thani has over 300 students and is a school that serves children from four villages: Ban Kang Moo 1, Ban Kang Moo 10, Ban Non Sa-at, and Ban Khok Samran. One of the major ongoing issues, which had been waiting for a solution for over 25 years, was the school’s canteen. The condition of the canteen is unsanitary, as it is old, dilapidated, and prone to flooding, causing foul odors around the area. The corrugated iron roof leaked, and rainwater often driped onto the dining tables. The old wooden structure was damaged by termites, and the corrugated iron roof deteriorated. The school submitted requests to build a new canteen to the relevant authorities several times, but has been informed that there is insufficient budget. The local community, feeling sympathy for the students, has tried to help the school, but the villagers' financial situation is limited, so they have only been able to make minor repairs to alleviate the situation. The Bangkok Charity Orchestra partnered with the Rotary Club of Bangkok to raise funds through the "Love is in the Air" Charity Concert last year, and collaborated with Capco Thailand CSR Team to rebuild the school canteen that is proper, hygienic, and safe for its students.
