The Bangkok Charity Orchestra (BCO) is the first orchestra to be committed to raising funds for charities in Thailand. It is established with the aims to support well respected charities as well as to promote classical music in Thailand while being a platform for aspiring musicians to perform to a high standard. The orchestra consists of talented musicians, both music professionals and experienced amateurs. The orchestra is founded in 2010 by Chulayuth Lochotinan. BCO prides its principle in donating 100% to charity without expense reduction of any kinds. BCO is grateful for its sponsors and supporters. We hope to welcome you to our future concerts and if you have any feedback or suggestions, we would be delighted to hear from you.
BCO helps people with disabilities. We have worked with WAFCAT to purchase and distribute wheelchairs to people who are in need across Thailand. We have also built a therapeutic and training room for Foundation for Children with Disabilities.
BCO works with various charity foundations to help disadvantaged and underpriviledged children throughout Thailand. We built a Sala to be used for various activites at Foundation for Children, a gym for children with special needs under care of Rajanukul School and installed IT facilities in 5 SOS Children Villages. We also renovated toilet facilities at Khao Pitak Municipal School in Hua Hin.
In response to natural disasters, BCO raised funds to help those who are affected. We donated the funds raised from our chairty concert in March 2011 to the Japanese tsunami victims through the Japanese Red Cross and used the funds raised from October 2011 concert to help the Thailand flood victims through Foundation for Better Life.
